Over the course of 12 years I was responsible for the entire front-end design and development of BiddingForGood's product line that encompassed a consumer shopping portal and an auction and event management platform used by over 10,000 non-profit organizations helping them to raise millions of dollars.
The BiddingForGood portal is where all the non-profit organizations that are running auctions are aggregated into one place so that 1.7M cause-minded bidders can access the portal to participate in auctions to support charities they care about.
The Auction Manager encompasses the design of 72 distinct features that enable non-profit organizations to easily manage their event, items, donors, promotion and auction close out.
Homepage: Auction Open
A definite highlight is how user-friendly the auction tools are. Each year it gets easier and the auction gets bigger. We’ve exceeded our goals every auction.
Non-profits use the auction manager to create a branded homepage to feature items up for bid, sell tickets, promote the live event and showcase sponsors.
The customizable, easy to use design and functionality of the BiddingForGood products was instrumental in establishing the company as the premiere cause-related fundraising e-commerce platform.
